Pairing the Farm with a New Braunfels Trip

The Farm Texas is about 25 minutes from New Braunfels, close enough to fold all the town's big draws into your stay while still coming home each night to 15 quiet acres. The Comal and Guadalupe Rivers — prime tubing water in summer — and Schlitterbahn are the obvious daytime anchors, and Gruene Historic District adds live music at Gruene Hall, antiquing, and a meal at the Gristmill overlooking the river.

Seasonal events are worth planning around: Wurstfest in early November turns New Braunfels into a ten-day celebration of its German roots, and the rivers are busiest from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Booking the farm as your base keeps you out of the in-town crowds and noise once the day winds down.
