A Private Dome Built for Two
The Farm Texas sits on 15 acres in San Marcos, tucked between Austin and San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. Three geodesic glamping domes — The Haven, The Jungle, and The Stargazer — each come with a king bed, panoramic windows, a private hot tub, and a cowboy pool that belongs entirely to you during your stay.
Choose The Stargazer for celestial decor, a themed bathroom, and room for up to four with a king bed and full-size pull-out couch, or The Haven for a farm retreat for two. The Jungle brings tropical artwork, a fire pit, and room for four with a king bed and pull-out couch. Compare all three San Marcos glamping domes to choose the right fit.
All three include a kitchenette, mini fridge, coffee maker, Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom. Check-in is 4 PM and check-out is 11 AM. The wider farm is shared with other guests and our farm animals, including morning roosters. Enter your dates for current availability, rates, and booking terms.
What Makes It Romantic
Private Hot Tub Under the Stars
Every dome comes with its own hot tub — soak in the dark Hill Country sky without sharing with anyone else on the property.
Panoramic Dome Windows
Wake up in a king bed with views across the farm, then take your morning coffee outside.
An Evening Under the Stars
Spend the evening on your private deck or in the hot tub. For sky watching, plan around clear weather and a new moon.
Wine Country a Short Drive Away
Explore Texas Hill Country wineries and tasting rooms 20–40 minutes from the farm, then return to your private dome.
Slow Mornings, Zero Schedule
Coffee on the deck, alpacas grazing past the window, and absolutely nothing you have to do. That's the whole point.
A Cowboy Pool for Two
Cool off in the cowboy pool on warm afternoons, then watch the sun drop behind the pasture. It never gets old.

Honeymoons
Start your married life slow, private, and surrounded by the Hill Country.

One last slow, romantic trip before the family grows.
Just Because
No occasion needed. That's the best occasion.
Stargazing Under Dark Hill Country Skies
Make time for a quiet evening outdoors after dinner. Each dome has a private outdoor area and hot tub, so you can settle in and watch the sky without leaving your accommodation. Clear weather and a new moon improve viewing conditions; the sky changes with clouds, moonlight, and nearby lights.
The Stargazer carries the night-sky theme indoors with celestial decor and a feature wall behind the king bed. For help planning the evening, read our Texas stargazing guide, then compare the three domes to find your stay.
