Other guests may be staying on the property during your visit. • A caretaker is generally onsite most days from approximately 8 AM to 4 PM to care for the animals and grounds. No caretaker lives onsite. • The farm store is closed to guests. • Two ponds are catch-and-release only. Please bring your own fishing poles. Swimming is only available in the cowboy pool. How many guests can The Haven accommodate?
The Haven accommodates up to 2 overnight guests. Sleeping arrangement: King bed for two. The loft is not included in the two-guest capacity.
Does The Haven have a private bathroom, hot tub and pool?
Yes. Your dome has its own bathroom, hot tub and cowboy pool. The wider farm grounds and animal areas are shared with other farm guests. The farmhouse and other domes are separate rentals.
Can we cook in The Haven?
The kitchenette is set up for simple meals, with a mini fridge, coffee maker and a portable cooktop stored in a drawer. There is no full oven. A BBQ grill is available outside.
Are pets welcome at The Haven?
Yes. The Haven, The Jungle, and The Stargazer all welcome pets. The pet fee is $100 per stay for each dome. One pet is allowed per stay. A second pet requires approval before arrival, with no additional pet fee. Please include your pet when booking and keep pets leashed around our farm animals.
What should we expect on the working farm?
Other guests may be staying in the separately rented farmhouse and domes. Farm animals and routine farm work are part of the experience, including morning animal sounds. The farm store is closed to guests. The ponds are for catch-and-release fishing, not swimming.
What are the check-in and checkout times?
Check-in is from 4 PM and checkout is by 11 AM, local Texas time. Follow the arrival instructions in your reservation confirmation. Contact us before arrival to ask about an early check-in; availability depends on the cleaning schedule.
