Step into The Jungle — one of three luxury glamping domes on our 15-acre farm in San Marcos, TX (alongside The Haven and The Stargazer). Tropical-themed and immersive, this dome is built for couples and small groups who want comfort with a little wild personality. The Jungle vibe Vivid jungle-inspired artwork, lush faux greenery, and warm natural textures turn the dome into a private tropical hideaway — think Hill Country meets rainforest. Natural farm sounds and insects are part of the rural setting. Why you'll love it • Farm animals at your doorstep — mini goats, an alpaca, a mini zebu, peacocks, chickens, and ponies. • Relax & refresh — soak in your private hot tub, cool off in the cowboy pool, or fire up the charcoal BBQ. • Nature everywhere — wander the farm trails, fish the two stocked ponds (catch-and-release, BYO poles), and enjoy some of the darkest stargazing skies near central Texas. • Comfort inside — king bed, full-size pullout couch, full bathroom, dining table, board games, TV, and a kitchenette with the basics for simple meals (no full oven). Sleeping arrangements (sleeps 4) • King bed (sleeps 2) • Full-size pullout couch in the living area (sleeps 2) About the property — multiple independent dwellings Our 15-acre farm has multiple separate accommodations, each rented independently: • Three glamping domes — The Stargazer, The Jungle, and The Haven • The Farmhouse — a 3-bedroom home You may share the broader property with guests staying in the other dwellings. Each dome has its own private hot tub, cowboy pool, and outdoor area. A caretaker is generally onsite most days from approximately 8 AM to 4 PM to care for the animals and grounds. No caretaker lives onsite. Heads-up about farm sounds This is a working farm with mini goats, peacocks, chickens (including roosters that crow in the morning), an alpaca, and a mini zebu. Natural farm sounds are part of the experience. If you're noise-sensitive, please plan accordingly. Local adventures • 11 minutes to San Marcos for dining, shopping, and the outlets • 18 minutes to Gruene Hall for tubing, live music, and shopping • 20 minutes to Schlitterbahn Waterpark Important notes • Two ponds are catch-and-release only. Bring your own poles. Swimming only in the cowboy pool. • The farm store is closed to guests. • Other dome / farmhouse guests may be on-site during your stay. Your jungle escape awaits. You'll have full access to The Jungle dome, its private outdoor area (hot tub, cowboy pool, BBQ), and the shared farm trails and pond areas. The Farmhouse and other domes are private to their guests. A code to the lockbox with the key to the dome will be provided 12 hours before your stay. Parking: please use the designated dome parking area (space for 2 cars). We're available by message anytime during your stay. Our friendly groundskeeper is on-site daily to care for the animals and grounds — feel free to wave hello or ask for help. Otherwise we keep our distance to give you a private, peaceful stay. The Farm sits on 15 quiet acres just outside San Marcos, in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. You're surrounded by farmland, wide-open skies, and dark stargazing nights — but only minutes from one of central Texas's most fun small cities. • 11 minutes to downtown San Marcos — restaurants, shopping, the famous outlet malls, and the spring-fed San Marcos River • 18 minutes to Gruene Hall (live music, tubing, dining) • 20 minutes to Schlitterbahn Waterpark • ~30 minutes to New Braunfels • ~50 minutes to Austin • ~60 minutes to San Antonio The neighborhood is rural, peaceful, and beautifully starlit at night — perfect for unplugging. A car is highly recommended — the farm is rural and most of the local attractions are a short drive away. A few things to know: • Other guests may be staying in the other domes (The Stargazer, The Haven) or the farmhouse during your visit.
