Below the dam, the Guadalupe tailrace stays cold year-round and is one of the most reliable tubing and trout-fishing stretches in Texas, while the lake itself has eight public parks with boat ramps and swim areas around its shoreline. Pack the cooler in the morning, spend the day on the water, and let the farm be the quiet you come back to.
That balance suits groups especially well: the farmhouse sleeps up to 12 with a full kitchen and game room for the after-lake hours, and the hot tub and fire pit make the evenings. Between lake days, the alpacas, goats, and mini horses give kids a reason to stay happy on-property.
